Join us for a hands-on experience at Spirit School, where you will learn the art of making a traditional First Nations drum. Using rawhide from elk or deer and cedar wood, this workshop will connect you with the natural elements and sacred traditions of drum-making. Lydia Williams will guide participants through the drum-making process, beginning with a ceremonial land offering to honour the land and materials. She will also share traditional songs from the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) Nation, weaving culture and storytelling into the experience.
